We received the most wonderful gift from a good, good friend today--a quilt by Phyllis Moore. I can't keep my eyes off of it! The colors are remarkable, made to coordinate with our wedding. There are pieces of African fabric, bold flowers, organics, grids, braids, brush strokes and dots. I was so utterly touched I wept when we spread it out before us. To me, a quilt is life.
